no joke.. at the Starbucks on Mass Ave in Cambridge. He’s in there all the time!!

...he and Alan Dershowitz were going at it during a debate on the Israel/Palestine conflict at the JFK Graduate School of Government. I can’t even remember how many times Dershowitz made random stabs at Chomsky.. Like accusing Professor Chomsky of living on “Planet Chomsky” and welcoming him to reality.

It was a bit classless, but if Harvard has taught me anything, it’s that the smartest people aren’t necessarily the most well mannered. There were other rude rejoinders like “well, maybe it’s obvious to you Chomsky, but not to the rest of us.” The whole place was bleeding with disrespect.

But yeah, I didn’t actual meet Chomsky, I simply saw him at the lecture :)

I don’t know much about Conan only that there is a sandwhich named after him at Mr. Bartley’s Burger Cottage in Cambridge and it’s delicious.. and he went to Harvard :)
